The Surprise Shop Watchlist was built to solve that problem.

Find the Exact Card You're Looking For

Start by searching the Watchlist by card name, set, or collector number.

If the card is already in stock, click View in Shop and you can purchase it right away.

If it's not available, click Notify Me When Available to create a watch for that card.

Not Just the Card — The Version You Want

Sometimes you're not looking for just any copy.

Maybe you only want a foil. Maybe you're building a Near Mint collection. Maybe condition doesn't matter and you simply want the first copy that becomes available.

When you create a watch, you can tell us exactly what you're willing to wait for.

Choose your preferences, enter your email address, and we'll watch our inventory for a copy that matches what you're looking for.

One Important Step — Confirm Your Watch

After adding a card to your Watchlist, check your inbox for a confirmation email and click the confirmation link for that card.

Your watch isn't active until you confirm it, and each watch you create must be confirmed individually.

Once you've confirmed it, you're all set.

Then Let Us Do the Searching

Our inventory is constantly changing. Customers trade cards into the shop, we purchase collections, and new singles are processed into our inventory all the time.

The card you're looking for might not be here today—but it could walk through our door tomorrow.

Once a card matching your Watchlist preferences enters our inventory, our system recognizes the match and sends you an email letting you know it's available.

Instead of checking our website every day, you can let us do the watching.

It's Available!

Your notification doesn't just tell you that the card is back in stock.

The email includes information about the card that became available, including its name, set, finish, condition, and current price.

Most importantly, you'll receive a View & Buy button that takes you directly to that card on The Surprise Shop website.

No searching again. No digging through sets. No trying to remember which version you wanted.

Open the email, click View & Buy, review the card, and purchase it if you still want it.

First Come, First Served

A Watchlist notification lets you know the moment a matching card becomes available, but it does not reserve the card.

Someone else may be watching for the same card, and customers shopping online or inside our physical store may also be able to purchase it.

Availability is first come, first served, so if it's a card you've been waiting for, we recommend checking it out when you receive the alert.

Store Emails Are Optional

When creating a watch, you'll also have the option to receive emails about sales, new releases, and news from The Surprise Shop.

This is completely separate from your Watchlist notification. You do not have to sign up for marketing emails to receive alerts for the cards you're watching.

Whether you're waiting for the last card in a deck, hunting down a particular printing, looking for a foil, or holding out for a Near Mint copy, you shouldn't have to search our inventory every day hoping one appears.
