Start With Our Trade-In Estimator
Our online Trade-In Estimator lets you search our system and build a quick trade-in estimate from home.
The tool currently supports:
Magic: The Gathering & Pokémon Cards
Search for individual cards and narrow them down by the specific printing, finish, or version you're trying to trade.
Video Games
Search for games by title, console, or UPC and tell us whether your copy is Loose, Complete in Box, New & Sealed, Graded, Box Only, or Manual Only.
Comic Books
Search for individual comics and add them directly to your Trade-In List.
As you find your items, add them to your Trade-In List and watch your estimated value build.
We Buy More Than What's in the Estimator
Just because something isn't available in our online search doesn't necessarily mean we aren't interested in it.
The Surprise Shop also buys and trades for other collectibles, including Funko Pops and select collectible items.

Have a Large Collection? Don't Enter It One Item at a Time.
If you've already cataloged a large collection in a spreadsheet, you don't need to search for and enter every item individually.
Our Trade-In page allows you to upload an entire CSV file containing your collection.
Upload the file, send us your information, and we'll review the collection and reach out to you.
This is especially useful for large Magic: The Gathering or Pokémon collections, game collections, comic collections, or other bulk inventories that would take too long to enter manually.
Send Us Your Trade-In List
Once you've finished building your Trade-In List, you can send the entire completed list directly to The Surprise Shop by email through the Trade-In tool.
Enter your name, email address, and phone number, submit the list, and we'll receive the details of everything you've added.
There's no need to copy everything down, take screenshots, or create a separate list.
Build your trade on the website, send us the complete list, and we'll review it for you.
We'll look over your submission and reach out to discuss your trade and the next steps.
Your Estimate Is a Starting Point
The Trade-In Estimator is designed to give you a quick idea of what your items may be worth, but the estimate is not a guaranteed final offer.
Final offers may vary after we review factors such as:
Condition • Completeness • Exact Version or Printing • Current Demand
For trading cards, the exact printing, finish, and physical condition can make a significant difference.
For video games, things such as whether the game is loose, complete in box, factory sealed, or missing components can also affect its value.
